I agree. Five minutes per patient, or whatever the "standard" is, doesn't seem to be working. And the insurance companies and big corporations come in promising to fix things but seem to be leading to more bureaucracy. And then, because we have so many different insurance companies AND the federal government (Medicare) AND the state government (Medicaid), there are many different forms and requirements to meet. It's a bit of a mess, and I don't blame patients who are fed up. (Though I draw the line at the violence we saw last week.)
