It’s not at all about what I mean. Stop injecting subjectivity into this “debate.” It’s all about the definition of Due Process. It’s an actual legal concept with centuries of legal scholarship behind it. You should really look it up.

In the context of the vaccine requirements/mandates, Due Process means that a vaccine law is passed by a legislative body as required the state and federal constitutions, which limit the government’s powers. Then, if challenged in court, the courts find the requirement/mandate to not violate the restrictions on the government. And then we get on with vaccinating.

It’s not like vaccine laws come out of nowhere, capriciously driven by some cabal of pharmaceutical representatives and special interests. The laws are proposed, debated and voted on, and — so far — very few have been struck down by the courts because they’re found to be constitutional.

Many antivaxxers keep wanting to continue the debate after this, saying — without evidence, naturally — that their rights are still being violated when the legislature debated the measure and the courts upheld it. Want to stop this “violation” of Due Process? Change the laws, or the Constitution.
