"most guys seem" <- It's a matter of opinion, isn't it?

The change in masculinity is the change that the Far Right is up in arms about: More acceptance of men staying home and raising children, more acceptance of non-heterosexual relationships about biological males, more encouragement for men to be responsible fathers, and so on and so forth.

As for bullying, according to the US Department of Education, from 2009 to 2019, bullying went down from 28% to 22% of all students. Though, admittedly, some subgroups saw no change or an increase.

The rates of rape and domestic violence have also declined, according to the National Crime Victimization Survey (https://bjs.ojp.gov/sites/g/files/xyckuh236/files/media/document/cv20.pdf)

This is not to say that a decline means it's not a problem. Bullying, rape, domestic abuse and similar gender- and hate-based crimes are unacceptable at any level.

But, in my opinion, a decline means -- to me, it might be different to you -- that changes are happening.

Again, just my opinion based on the numbers. I will accept that your own experiences may shape your views, regardless of the evidence.

Thank you for reading.
